Hiding the wires is always fun and you
have to remember you may have to get at
them at some time in the future. This is
another area where pre-planning pays off.
Pre-drill all of your holes prior to painting
the frame. One reason you do a
pre-assembly is to find out where
everything goes and how to make it all fit.

I’m using a Badlands license plate mounting bracket that is hinged so that it bends forward along side the frame. This will help you avoid taking a chunk out of your leg should you forget that it’s there as you and others walk around your bike.

Using "Fat", 1-1/4” handlebars and most custom handlebar
controls will require a bit of thought. There is a space between
the grips, the switches and the holes for running the wires in
the bar holes and the fat part of the bar. Depending on the
brand of bar you use, you may want to make some 1-1/4”
spacers to cover the bar here.

These Adjure Beacon I turn signals on the front are mounted
with the Adjure billet mounts designed to mount on the
forward controls. I felt they would have been too low for
visibility so I mounted them just under the Headwinds billet
head light with a bracket I got from Paughco. It turned out to
be a super nice combination so you can look forward to more
of these on coming project bikes. You’ll be very happy with
them, should you decide to add them to your current bike
or project build.

Now loosely bolt the top motor mount and coil with cover into position so you
can run the wires.

Note the hole just under the gas tank that I drilled prior to paint.
